Identification of fire resistance classes according to PN-90/B-02851 [2.1]
With reference to screening and partition walls, the fire resistance class F2 means that the insulating properties and fire resistance of the wall is not less than two hours.
With reference to bearing walls, the fire resistance class F2 means that the bearing capacity, insulating properties and fire resistance of the wall is not less than two hours. The symbol F4 is analogous (four hours).
Identification of fire resistance classes according to PN-B-02851-1:1997 [2.2]
The fire resistance class EI 120 denotes insulating properties and fire resistance of walls of not less than 120 minutes (analogously EI 240 – two hundred and forty minutes).
The fire resistance class REI 120 denotes insulating properties and fire resistance of walls of not less than 120 minutes (analogously REI 240 - two hundred and forty minutes).
