When joining exterior with interior walls, particularly if it is a load-bearing wall of a different material, it can be done by means of a contact joint, using a steel anchor made of flats.



An interior wall can be joined to an exterior one by inserting blocks of the interior wall into the exterior wall – depth around 150 mm.
