Mixing the adhesive mortar

Prepare 6 ÷ 7 litres of water and put the content of the bag (25 kg) into it, and then, by means of a mixing drill or by hand, mix until you receive the desired consistency. The mortar must be stirred from time to time. The mixture – if prepared in this way – must be used up within 4 hours.

Application

Apply mixed mortar onto the horizontal and vertical surface of blocks or bricks by means of a toothed trowel, which allows the mortar to be spread evenly at the required thickness. To maintain an image of the wall uniform in terms of thermal properties, the joint should be up to 3 mm thick. For tongue and groove blocks the vertical weld is not used.

SOLBET ADHESIVE MORTAR FOR THIN JOINTS is a ready-made, dry mixture, packed in 25-kg bags. To prepare it, one merely needs to mix it with water (25 kg + 6-7 litres of water).
Standard mortar is meant for walls with traditional thick joint. As a result, thermal bridges appear at joints. SOLBET ADHESIVE MORTAR FOR THIN JOINTS is a ready-made, dry mixture, packed in 25-kg bags. To prepare it, one merely needs to mix it with water (25 kg + 6-7 litres of water).
Standard mortar is applied with a trowel, thus its excess very often drops, which increases consumption. SOLBET ADHESIVE MORTAR FOR THIN JOINTS is applied with a special toothed trowel, which makes spreading easier.
Preparation time for standard mortar is 3.3 man-hours per 1 ton. For the SOLBET ADHESIVE MORTAR FOR THIN JOINTS it is only 1 man-hour.
Consumption of standard mortar per 1 m2 of wall 250 mm wide: 25 kg. Consumption of the SOLBET ADHESIVE MORTAR FOR THIN JOINTS: on average, 2 kg of the adhesive per 1 m2 are used for 250 mm wide wall, and joint width of 1 mm.
